Well I hedged my bets yesterday and went for placepots in Kempton, Southwell, Lingfield and Newbury, with the hope of earning back more than my stake.

Closest I came was at Lingfield with 4 wins and a place, so yet again I was short by 1. I never realised how difficult this could be.
I have decided to have a break for a couple of days and study form guides, tipsters and racing journals etc in the hope of snatching a placepot or even better, the Scoop6 on Saturday.
